When I left my full-time job to take care of my kids at home, I decided to turn the internet upside down to find ways to work from home and make extra income money.

I know, like me, there are many other moms and dads who are trying to find ways to work from home while taking care of their little ones. Whether you are a new mum, a dad, a college student, or just want to make some extra income, work from home is 100% possible and a great option too.

You can either work from home full-time and start a business or just work few hours to add some extra cash to your budget.

You don’t have to be super qualified, well experienced or crafty, there is work for every kind of interest, experience, and qualifications.

To work from home, you need an internet connection, a computer or a smartphone, and some free time.

No doubt, we all have heard about work from home scams and some of these work sounds too good to be true but let me reassure you that work from home and earning money is a reality.

There are many ways to earn money working as a tutor like one to one tutoring, online tutoring, to a group, as well as tutoring your juniors, especially in university or college.

If you are a teacher then it’s very easy to start tutoring your students. Most amazing teachers are approached by students or their parents for tutoring so its an automatic extension of their normal job to side income.

Well, its no longer a secret that a successful blogger can earn in thousands to millions per year. There are so many ways to earn income from a blog.

No doubt, it’s not as easy as it sounds (talking from my own experience) but it’s 100% possible. It’s a very demanding work in the beginning as you’ll be doing everything from writing to marketing to graphic designing, social media account management, sending emails.

But as you grow and establish your brand and start earning then its lots of fun and flexible. You can easily earn more than your monthly salary.

Bookkeeping is a process of recording financial transactions for a business, non-profit organization or individuals.

It is a part of accounting. Book keeper’s job is to keep records of purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You need have an eye for details along with a knack for numbers.

College degree is not necessary but desirable. You need to be a registered bookkeeper before applying for work.

9. Scoping

Scoping is the process of translating and editing documents for court reporters.

Along with interest in the legal field, you need have a good command over the English language, good listening skills (as it also included listening to audio scripts), and knowledge of shorthand.

You need to have excellent punctuation, word use, and vocabulary skills. Since, it’s a legal job so an eye for detail, research and sitting for long hours in front of a computer are added features.

It’s not just any work from home job, it’s intense and when you are working on a project, you might work more than 8 hours at a stretch depending on the deadlines.

Some experienced scopist make about $1000 to $2000 per week but jobs are not always regular, as with any home-based work.

In general, the scopist’s hourly wage is dependent on several factors: the skill of the writer; the difficulty of the material/speakers; the experience and speed of the scopist; whether or not a full audio listening is required.

With digitalization, every company has a website and prefer their customers to call, email or chat for any inquiries. Some big companies have permanent location based staff but most startups and small business are opting for home-based staff for it saves them money on real estate.

Customer service role doesn’t require any qualifications but some might prefer experienced candidate over a newbie, again it all depends upon the role.

11. Technical Customer Support

Search engine evaluators are the one who evaluates the results from search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, Pinterest etc. They rate a webpage according to the guidelines set by search engines.

Search engines use complex algorithms to rate web pages and display search result but it needs human eyes and mind to double check the result that’s when search engine evaluator come into action.

A doula is a non-medical person who supports a pregnant lady and her family during the whole process of pregnancy.

Even though it’s a non-medical work, a certificate is desirable because childbirth is a complex process.

Major doula organizations include DONA, Birth Arts International, Birthing From Within, CAPPA, The Birthing Room and the Australian Doula College among others, many of which also provide training in birth-related fields as childbirth education training, lactation education training, and business training, and/or birth trauma counseling.

Start your online store and start selling everything or anything. You can use Amazon FBA program or start a store on Shopify and start earning full time.

There are unlimited resources to start your online store but let me tell you that it’s not that easy. The competition is fierce and you need to be internet savvy plus do some market research before venturing out.

The products are all made and shipped from Chine to User’s doorstep (small investment) or you can organize it to be dropped at Amazon warehouse(big investment)

Renting a car has apparently become a big thing these days. I came to know it recently.

If you are a car owner and would like to rent your car while it’s not being used like in weekend or you are planning a trip and your car is sitting idle at home then renting it out is a good way add some extra bucks to your income.
